i feel so bad for my mom even though i think she's psycho, but she's psycho for all the right reasons.
dear god it's not fucking fair that she has to feel like shit all the time.
her husbands dead-beat, her kids cause enough trouble, and she hates her job. and she goes to church, does devotionals 2x daily, and goes to bible study. now tell me, where's the fairness there?
why are we told that when you devote yourself to God, everythign then goes a little better? they say, you can handle it all, but why is God showering her with SHIT? it's not fair and it makes me want to doubt what I've believed in my whole 20years.

well i'm not going to jinx anything, but i'm quite happy with the way my life is going right now. i'm having fun, meeting new people, and opening myself up to new experiences/people and it is paying off.

please pray for my step dad today, he's having surgery and i know he's going to be fine, but it's no harm asking God to watch over him.

i watched united 93 tonite and it was quite intense. i am glad that i saw it because it wasn't so long ago that it happened and i feel like the people of our country are just as much divided as we were before. it seemed at least for a couple of years that we decided to unite and become one rather than have so many different opinions and judgements. i just think that it is necessary for our country, any country at that to unite and be one rather than split down the middle. it means everyone compromising and everyone changing their views just a little. republicans and democrats alike..

but off that soapbox...

becky, i love you and am so happy for you. you're great and you deserve anything great that ever happens to you. i love you more than life itself.

so.. i have random things to say:

- i was talking to meshell on the phone today and i was driving to my house and coming down hornet onto berkeley was a guy on his bike. he was tearing down the hill at high speeds and just as i was coming up to turn this boy just flies off his bike and eats the biggest shit of his life right next to my car. i'm literally laughing outloud as i write this. he like lies in the street for like 3 minutes all the while i'm yelling at him asking if he needs help bc a car's gonna hit him!!! and meshell thought i got in an accident. oh wow it was great.

- mexico was so much fun. although, i keep finding scratches all over my body. no kidding. the fatty cut on my foot was sterilized with tequila while in mexico. and i have a fatty knot on my head from the shower rod falling on me. that was probably the funniest thing ever.

- the printer at work SAID about 100 pages ago that it was out of ink, and here i am printing away. freaking swindeling bastards trying to rip me off.

- good pictures from mexico. i wish i had photo paper that i could print them out on. but i don't :-(

it's raining.
i'm at work.
i'm reading a book, it's called "something borrowed." it's about a girl who sleeps with her best friends fiance and thus far, they're in loooove.
i'm a little hungover, because apparently i can't drink without a hangover anymore. but i'm used to going to work on like less than 5 hours of sleep. last night, it was 3.5 hrs. it's all good.
christmas/new years/birthday are over and i'm so glad it's january and so glad it's 2006 and so glad that i'm 12 months closer to 21. i feel it's going to be a pivotal year, but then again, things never turn out the way you think.
i'm not where i thought i'd be at 20, i wasn't where i thought i'd be when i was 19, but i sure as hell hope that i'll be somewhere when i'm 21.

so last night was like date night, but only KATIE and BECKY's date night. we went to the Irvine Spectrum dressed festively in our scarves and hats, then had dinner at Red Robin. after that, we walked around the stores, but so proudly, didn't buy anything! then we went ICE SKATING! yay! i love ice skating, except it was like $16 to skate in this dinky rink that needed to desperatly be ZAMBONIED. we're pro skaters, i tell you. except becky fell once, i still laugh about it now. i would have laughed if i fell too.. but she fell back onto her ass and then smacked her head. it probably hurt A LOT but it was too funny. then we went to Barnes and Noble and got some books and starbucks and cheesecake. then we went home and watched The Girl Next Door, which was not what i expected it to be, but was really cute. So yeah. becksta and kt had a good night last night. bffls. AND TONITE WE'RE GOING TO THE MIGHTY DUCKS GAME!!!

so i've updated every november 27th for 2 years, lets advance to a third.

i love gunit. i love my friends. i'm so happy for them. seriously, we have so much more fun simply because... we're GUNit!!!!

best part of last night, all girls standing in kitchen dancing and meshell giving the camera to some random guy and just yelling keep going keep taking come on take 'em take 'em.

i am so thankful for the future. if it wasn't for the future, there would be no hope. it is what keeps me going day to day. it is what i look forward to when i wake up. oh what the future holds.
hopefully i don't keep changing as drastically as i have, because man, i'd be so different!

i used to be little katie homemaker, like all i want to do is get married and have kids. my step-sister was reading "the proper care and feeding of your husband"... mind you she's 20 years old with no boyfriend and no prospects of having one soon! it's just so pathetic. i don't know maybe it's just me...

i really think that i have adhd. and add, i think when you have adhd though, that add comes with it. it's like a little package deal. i'm reading a really interesting book and ever few pages i put it down to dawdle on the internet. or play solitaire or something.
i am so tired today.
thursday: harry potter at midnight, sleep at 4.
friday: harry potter at 10:30, sleep at 1:30 work at 8:30
saturday: party it up til 1:30 work at 8:30

that just doesn't seem like enough sleep to me. but tomorrow i get to sleep in! it's my dads birthday, so we're going to lunch but that's still a pretty sufficient amount of sleep.
desperate housewives/gray's anatomy is on tonight, pure goodness. and then to top it off, sex and the city is on at 11, and friends at 11:30. it's like the one night i actually sit and watch tv since freakin laguna beach is over :-( even the oc is disappointing this season.
i'm basically babbling because i'm so bore and have 1 hour and 21 minutes left. i think i may leave early.
so the biggest jackass just called right now. gosh i don't understand why people are just so freakin rude. ridiculous i tell you.
so last night was a blast. i hung with my gunit girls. first we went to rutabagorz for a good dinner, and then came to my house where we had a photo session with kyle and lawrence. it was so fun. my brother was really cool!! and he's like in love with all of my best friends so it's kinda funny.
lawrence was video-taping us and i swear we should have a show. haha
then kyle freakin drove us around.
there was more to the night, but i'm done.
